Whanganui River Top 10 Holiday Park

Very good facilities, we really enjoyed our stay at this well maintained park. We recommend this park.

The Whanganui River Top 10 Holiday Park is a well-maintained campground with a very clean abolution block. The shower pressure is just right, the kitchen facilities are amazing and the TV room is well equiped with Sky TV and a big screen. The staff is always helpful and well informed about the city and the region. The park offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, paintball and a great jumping pillow for kids and adults is set up. I personally enjoyed a 30minute ride on a jetski which was full of action. I can recommend this Holiday Park to anyone who is visiting New Zealand. The park does not only offer campsites but also a huge range of different accomodation such as cabins,self-contained units or even deluxe motels.

We were travelling through New Zealand for 6 months and this was the best Holiday Park we have stayed. We are frequent travelers so we are experienced campground users. We do not know why other people say that this Holiday Park was disappointing for them, we were a 100% satisfied with the Whanganui River Top 10 Holiday Park
he friendly staff at the reception was very helpful, they showed us everything we needed to know on a map and recommended a wonderful Irish Pub where we have watched the Rugby Worldcup final :) The facilities were very clean and we think that they were also cleaned during nighttime because when we used them the next morning they were super clean again. What a great experience!!
he Park is just a few km´s away from the city center. However, we enjoyed the silence while staying directly on the riverbanks so we had a great view of the river from our campervan. We hired some kajaks (thanks to the owner Andre for his funny introduction to kajaking) and had a nice and safe time on the river.
e can definitely recommend this park to everybody. Make sure that you use all the additional offers (e.g. paintball, jetskis, kajaks...).

One of the better maintained holiday parks in the country, great facilities, nice and clean and the showers are better than any motel I have stayed in. The water pressure is awesome. will be back in summer for the jetskis and kayaking.
