Waiwera Holiday Park

we stayed at the camping ground last year, i wasnt impressed with the kitchen and toilets,they were digusting,not going back.lovelly place,its not run properley

I have travelled and camped all over NZ and I can inform you all this is the worst campground I have ever been to, what a disgrace and complete embarrassment. It’s filthy and completely run down and to top-it off, it has permanent bogan residents which sit around leering at everyone while smoking P, no joke it’s an absolute sh..hole.

Stayed at Waiwera camping ground for a few nights over Christmas and then went back a week later to visit friends and the toilets were still just as disgusting as they were Christmas day. Tissue stuck inside mat in shower was still there a week later. Floors were never washed and were dirty. For health reasons I would not stay at Waiwera again. Nice and close to the beach, but too filthy for my liking.

My partner and I have been traveling all around New Zealand for the past 4 months and have stayed at many Holiday Parks during that time. We always walked away happy.

We recently stayed at the Waiwera Holiday Park and were shocked at the conditions of the facilities. While the staff were extremely friendly and helpful the condition of the facilities was awful. The bathrooms and showers smelled of urine and had broken tiles and mold all over and the kitchen was no better. Great location and friendly staff but I would not stay there again.

Loved being right by the water, could look out on it from our camper. Facilities were clean, even at the busy season when we came. Staff very friendly and helpful, my child loved being there. I`ll be back - can`t wait!
