Waitiki Landing Complex

An excellent service is offered dropping off and picking up hikers who are walking the Cape Reinga Coastal Walkway. We took advantage of this service. We found the service efficient and very friendly.

total rudeness towards tourists who needed help when in NZ, yelled at and told to ``get out`` when mistake on fuel pump was pointed out. there is no diesel sign on the pump, the locals seem to know this is always happens and nothing is done to correct it. no help was offered other than laughs and pointing by locals and owners. if this is how tourists get treated then i suggest something be done about it quick smart about waitiki before our failling reputation is damaged even more.

obviously at the end of nz this place is needed for fuel and supplies...but how much $$ do they make off of poor signage on the diesel pump and overseas tourists? i called my father in australia to ask for advice on what to do when diesel was put in an unleaded car because all the locals
