Urenui Beach Motor Camp

This has to be the best holiday / caravan/ tent site on the west(north island) coast!!! we have been holidaying here in a tent for 9 years....from NO KIDS to 2 KIDS ....we have developed so many great relationships with people we only camp with over the christmas/new year period...our kids are safe in the river...safe in the ocean( parental obsevation) our kids have blossemed this year and we have rebooked for another great year in 2012....Ian ....Teresa...Liam and Aidan...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!! :)

Have been 3 years in a row and will be back again. Beautiful piece of New Zealand with limestone cliffs and Pohutukawa trees - breathtaking!Camps sites right on the beach and river mouth so plenty of fun to be had. Dad went out fishing, and the kids loved the mudflats at low tide. Play area for smaller kids and amenities were clean too. Good little shop on site and easy trip into New Plymouth if you want. Staff friendly and helpful.

This has to be the best motor camp in NZ. Great facilities -- safe swimming, good shop, small playground, golf course, fishing off the beach and boat ramp. The kids and wife enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Plenty to do at any time of the day, whether the tide was in or out. I will certainly be returning again.
