Tongariro Holiday Park

Tongariro is a great place, but the holiday park here is one to avoid. The stay was was ruined by the obnoxious host Greg. Kiwi`s are in general quite friendly, especially south island holiday parks who go out of their way to may your stay pleasurable. But this guy is a stickler for rules and thinks hes some kind of teacher the way he speaks down to people. It wasnt just us the others in the camp told of their unfortunate encounters when informing of some cockroaches in their cablin, were told to get used to them as its commen in NZ. Another asked if they could leave their vehicle within the grounds and collect later after the walk, only to be told its not his problem. Avoid this place unless you like unfriendly people. Will not be returning.
