Absolutly Lovely Beach, Was visiting Family at the camping Ground and was rudely approached by a little lady asking if we were visiting someone at the camping Grond when i said yes she said there will be a charge for that, I said i needed to go get my purse went back to the office to pay paid the $2 visiting fee had a strap put on my wrist went to walk away and hubby had to pay $2 as well, We ended up getting told to get off the property as hubby told them it was a rip off asking for money to visit people anyone else had these problems else where?

Touring stopover - Julie
2nd Jan, 2011

Just a one night stay on a trip round the Cape - unfortunately an accident cut off the power til about 10.30pm so problems with lighting, power and showers, but beyond owners control. They were pleasant. Friendly camp cat! Fabulous setting, and nice tidy cabin with linen supplied. No score on facilities as they weren`t operational-but they might be great.

On the beach - Robin
24th Feb, 2010

The camp site is situated right on the beach and the kids were treasure hunting for hours every day. Just over the hill, about 5 minutes drive aways are some on New Zealand most amazing beaches, golden sand that stretches for miles, and warm shallow water that is perfect for the whole family.
isborne is just a short drive away so you don`t have to feel isolated if you find you need something to do.
