Great Place, not to be missed - Jenny
24th Sep, 2011

We came across this park be accident and it was one of the nicest things to happen to us whilst touring the North Island. There were 8 of us in 4 campervans and to find a place that was so welcoming, great fun encouraged by the owners and folks what about the pets. Julia the Pig. Des the dog and ofcourse the girls (chooks) who produced fresh eggs for our breakfast at a very very good price. I cannot recommend this to enough people I hope it never changes very much or looses the that feel of belonging when you arrive and all during your stay.

Wicked! - Brad Pepping

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Taumarunui Holiday Park numerous times and have always had a great time. The facilities are great and the hosts are always warm and welcoming. We stay here because it is some of the best fishing in the country and we are never disappointed. There is always plenty to do for the adventurous and will be sure to come back time and time again. Thanks Phil and Helen.

Put this on your list of places to stay - Sue J
4th Jul, 2011

Great hosts - Helene and Phil are a friendly, helpful couple and, for the short time they have been hosting this camp, have put a lot of effort into making everything spick and span. The showers are marvellous - hot and strong. Their pets - Bob the cat, Des the dog, and Julia the Kunikuni pig are just as friendly as their owners. I`m heading South but intend to come back on the way home to see the continuing improvements that they are hoping to achieve. Go see for yourselves and enjoy.
