We have found the facilities, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff at all of the Top 10 campsites that we have visited to be excellent. Wanaka was a favourite in many ways, perhaps helped by the brilliant weather that we had.

Nice views, but you\'ll need to drive to Wanaka. The facilities were okay, but the shower cubicles were very small and the shower curtain kept blowing in and sticking to you! Lots of grass was traipsed into the showers, could do with encouraging people to wipe their feet as they went into the block. The laundry was well equipped and very busy.
