Traditional family camp in tranquil bush setting. 8kms on sealed roadfrom SH 6 at Canvastown. Crystal clear swimming river, FREE GOLDPANNING, tube the river, historic tunnel, glow worms, BBQ / campfires. Tramping and mountain biking tracks. Pet friendly. Open all year. Noeftpos.

Loved the campsite - Tom Barker

Campsite was really fun, only stayed for one night but loved it.
The glow-worm tours from the owners son are spot on, the little guy knows his stuff and its totally free.
There`s a nice swimming spot, a little cold but a nice walkup call.
Facilities are OK but toilets are due for referb in 2010, token showers should really be stated in the accomodation books, but still only $1.
New owners and wish them good luck.......
