Gateway to Coromandel Penninsula and Rotorua on Pacific Coast Highway. One hour drive to Auckland Airport and city.

this is the best camping ground ever,the water hole is awesome the campers and staff are friendly. Great family camp!. movie every night,great fun for the kids, i recommend it 4 next summer holidays!

Enjoyed a sunny Easter in very clean well equipped cabin, beautiful feel to campground and very friendly management. Had no references so went in unknowing of what to expect. Kids could ride bikes & scooters, play on tramps & playground. River swimming hole is set beside a lovely picnic type area of grass and a couple of shade trees. All up - impressed and would go again. Also able to take our dog - huge bonus. Short drive to Miranda Hot Springs and Bird Sanctuary. Beach short walk away. Apart from that not much else in area.
