Well laid out camp that is very clean and tidy, has a nice rural outlook and reasonable facilities that are on the whole pretty average for the tariff you pay. This isn`t uncommon with the Top 10 group though in my experience. Our visit was the most I have ever been charged for a powered site anywhere in NZ, even the usual tourist \"hotspots\" and thats from a regular caravanner of 20 years!. Intending visitors also need to be aware that despite being marketed in the current AA guide as a quiet camp the main trunk railway runs behind it. Yes an excellent takeaway across the road!

This didnt feel up to the top 10 standard. It was alright, nothing special.
he best thing about this place was the fantastic chippers accross the road!!!! :)

Worth a visit, good facilities - Phil & Lou

This is a nice park, with decent showers, kitchen and TV facilities. It`s clean and the staff are friendly.
One downside though, is that there is noise from trains passing nearby. Worth bearing in mind.
