Mangawhai Forest Camp

I love this place. Its tucked away, not spoiled by playgrounds and tv rooms, and has the best beach just around the corner. The weather was less than brilliant but we didnt care. New additions include a shower block and enhanced `kitchen` area. Its rustic - but thats what we like. If youre a fan of the 6 x 4 white painted line camp site with tv and games room - box on. :-)

we have stayed for the last ten years. this time the weather was crap and the camp manager was awake all the time and moody when you need help. he now has 6 dogs.

old wrecked cars were a bad start but the forest beach was nice. ranger mike was gd but always sleepin we had wake him up twice
