Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park

New or reinvigored owners have made a good fist of improving the place, good showers, clean facilities, improved lighting, better signage, better roading.

we stay here each year - it is like a second home. We highly recommend this place and the owners treat us like family. The negative reviews are not reasonable (I seem to get nice hot showers everyday). They should not have stayed here to begin with.

Fat lazy owners reflected in the state of the buildings and grounds, potholes, broken waterpipe supports, faded signposts, dust clouds with every gust of wind (in some parts), flyspots and cobwebs on windows, rough floors in toilet blocks, fickle showers, poor street lighting, the list goes on and on.
ut, its immensely popular in the holiday periods, why, heaps of room, open spaces for the kids to play, safe and secure fencing, nextdoor to warm shallow bays in the lake.
hame the owners didnt take more care in the buildings.
easonably priced but dont expect Top10 standards.

This was the first summer that i have experienced a christmas in.....Wow what a wounderful experience, Thank you Lake Ruataniwha Hoilday Park for the beautiful views of the mountains, fresh air, stunning lake and of course the staff who were very busy but always happy to help. Although the facilities are a little tried they were more than adequate. Thank you and would love to stay again.

Sorry that the people below didn`t like the park but that is OK with us cos we LOVE IT and the more people that know about it the busier it will get, it is our haven and we don`t need people like you in there complaining and upsetting the staff they have enough to do as it is.If it was that bad (which its not) you should of left and it is a shame that you could not put your name to your comments!!!!!!!!!
