Invercargill Top 10 Holiday Park

Very nice campsite, quite small but that made it feel very cosy. The facilities were clean and tidy. We arrived quite late, and didn`t realise it was so far out of town, so had to make do with what we could find in the campervan cupboards for tea!

This site was small but nice and well-maintained. The lady at the desk was very friendly and was full of helpfull information about what to do and where to go in Invercargil.
Unfortunately the site was located a rather lengthy walk out of town. It was so far out that we ended up bringing pizza back to the site with us rather than eat out, have a few drinks and then have to walk home.
This was the only down side to what is a clean and facility-filled site, but it was a very big downside and it`s the main reason I have given the site such a low score. If you don`t mind walking 5-6km or will be able to drive all evening (i.e. not going out for drinks) then this is the site for you. Otherwise you should try to stay a lot closer to the town centre.
