road. Small, friendly, family camp with safe swimming, shady sites,
easy boating, surf casting and diving. Private squash court, racquets
and balls available. Bookings for Cape Reinga tours, fishing charters,
dolphin watch, golf, central to all attractions of the North.

Totally agree with Jonezy. Although it`s a great area and the tent pitches are set amongs trees which is good for shade. If you are staying here please adjust your watches to 1976, coz thats the last time it was refurbished!

What could be a great little camp site - a beautiful location with lots of shade has poor shower and kitchen facilities for the price, in my opinion. The owner is miserable as sin, unhelpful and generally just sour faced. It is not, as advertised, a beachfront camp. You actually have to cross the road outside the camp to get to the beach. Although the beach is sandy, it is also very rocky and not the greatest swimming beach in the world though adequate for an afternoon`s entertainment. Much nicer beaches a short drive away. I would recommend an overnight stay or maybe two but not the ideal place for a weeks holiday with the family, especially not at that price!
