Beautiful park like grounds 2km from the city centre. A choice of well catered cabins. Children's playground. Close to the Hamilton Gardens, Claudelands Show Grounds, University, Mystery Creek and the international airport. Walking distance to cafes and bars. Great location for a number of tourist attractions e.g. Waitomo Caves. Qualmark 3 Star Plus Holiday Park.

We travelled all over the south and north island of new zealand and many Australian suburbs staying in many campsites, and I must say Hamillton City one the worst site in all New Zealand and australia, it was so bad that we lost our money one night and just parked by the side of the road as I really didnt want to go there. We spoke to many people and they were of the same opinion. So free camp if you are going to Hamilton its better than staying at the campsite.
