Clifton Motor Camp is by a sheltered beach offering safe swimming andfishing, both boat and surfcasting, with boat ramp and winchfacilities. Clifton is 20 minutes from both main centres and is thegateway to the gannets at Cape Kidnappers. Sites on the beach front,children's play ground and local attractions. A real family andfisherman's camp.

Pleasant stay even though the place looks a tad run down. Fabulous views across the bay, quite and quirky - the opposite of flash, had a community feel about it. Heaps of interesting things to explore. Wouldn`t want to spend a week there, but was a great place for the night.

Not the friendliest place to stay at. Lots of theft and management have a shocking attitude. Wonderful spot and clean amenities but a shame about the rest. Wont stay there again.

Stayed for a week last xmas, kids loved it!! would diffenantly recommend,well priced accomadation and lovely couple who manage the facility. Looking forward to returning!!

Clifton Motor Camp - Happy Camper

Just stayed there for the first time. It was great, clean and well run. A bit of Kiwiana. Watch the boats being launched and landed. But you`ll never find it if you rely on the map on this web site - it`s right at the end of Clifton Road, about 2 more Kms than the map indicates.
