Clarks Beach Holiday Park

It is o.k

We had a great few nights here. The camp is well looked after and clean. Kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the beach. The only thing I would criticise is having to pay for a shower.

Spent the long weekend here in an on-site caravan with awning. The location is stunning, the general facilities clean and tidy. The accommodation was in real need of maintenance - the bunks were so unstable that we had to put the mattress on the floor. The entire caravan and awning was alive with ants, the windows didn`t latch properly, you couldn`t put plates on the table as it bent inwards and everything slid to the centre. There was a plastic `carpet protector that was a hazard, the hot water tap wouldn`t turn off, and overall the place was well over priced for the shabbiness of the accommodation. Oh, and the showers didn`t all work - and didn`t give back the 50 cents!

I stayed here for two nights of which both was not enjoyable. Wonderful location but unfortunately also very appealing to all the young idiots in the area who meet at the reserve across the road with their car stereos up at maxium through most of the night, e.g. 8pm - 4am. Its mini golf course looks like it has not had attention in 10 years with all of the green matting ripped and entirely missing in parts. Half the tables in the dining area are also broken. It’s a great place if you want to fish and you are a very deep sleeper but not if you want to relax and have a quiet weekend.
