Athenree Hot Springs

Bay across the road not suitable for swimming, campground ok, not the greatest atmosphere, pool always overcrowded. We went with our 3 children one baby and two under 7, with my sister and her young family, we got told off by the camp manager at 9pm for apparently being too roudy!! We had sleeping children and as if we were going to jepordise waking them with noise!! We were very offended at this. The office mucked up our bookings and overcharged us by $80 and also my sisters family too. They did rectify this however and the the lady that sorted it was lovely. Overall I wouldn`t camp at this facility again!

Stayed here for 2 weeks Xmas/New Year 2008/09. Very friendly and family oriented. Great to see all the kids biking around the park. Lovely clean facilities in good condition. Good trampoline for kids, and play area just outside the park gates.
ice thermal pools, but these closed quite early in the evenings. Overall had a great holiday there.
