Akaroa Top 10 Holiday Park

Fabulous location. Great views. Probably one of the nicest of the ten sites we stayed at in April 2010.

The fabulous view of the harbour and the top facillities makes this one of the best holiday parks in the country. We have stayed there three times over the last two years and will continue to do so.

I find it hard to understand Tom`s complaint as everyone knows Feb is a peak time for popular parks like Akaroa, and it would put an impossible strain on such parks facillities if non guests all expected to be able to walk in and use the showers and probably the toilets, pool,kitchen,playground etc while they were there. Also how can they rate the park when they never actually got inside? We have stayed there and think it is a wonderful place

Great friendly staff, excellent clean facilities. Love the continuous hot water. Pool is fab but chilly!

This was a wonderful place to chill out at - gorgeous view down to the water and a nice track leading down to the village. Don`t know what this would be like when its packed though.
