Aaron Lodge Top 10 Holiday Park Motels

My wife and I booked a cabin ($48 - $4.80 discount = $43.20 for the night) here for 2 nights. Although we usually pitch a tent, Dunedin was lashing down and it was no weather for pitching a tent!
The cabin was spacious with double bed, single bed, desk, kitchen equipment and a power plug. Which was fantastic because we were able to charge up all our electronic equipment.
unfortunately, although the staff were friendly, they were rather unhelpful. When we asked which bus stop we needed to use to take a bus into town, they told us to stand by one that was no longer in use. After almost an hour waiting with no buses in the rain, we asked the people again only to find they had misdirected us. By this stage we had missed the last bus for the next hour and a half, so our afternoon was pretty much ruined.
Apart from that the site was memorable for better reasons. It had plenty of facilities and was only really let down by it`s distance from the city (15-20 minutes by bus, when one arrives) and the less than useful staff.
